Being a novice, it's cumbersome for me. Yes, each row in dataset can have only one document. Now, for the download button, linked to the document field, it'll naturally download the document it it exists. I just need to change the lable of the download button to specify whether the document is there for the download or is it yet to be uploaded. Please guide, how to go about it.
Hey Anupam and Nayeli. Here's how I got it to work. In addition to changing the button label I disable the button so it can't be clicked when there's nothing to download and enable it if there is. I have attached a print screen of my test site for your convenience. Do you want those dropdowns to only display their values or will the user be able to change what's there also? Also FYI - the upload button only allows a user to select 1 file, it doesn't handle multiple files. If a file is selected and the user tries to select another one, it just replaces the first one.

The problem is the dropdown does not display the value recorded in the dataset. The list options is diplayed correctly.
